The Daley & Tshuma Scholarship Foundation was born from a deeply personal journey and a powerful desire to give back.

It began with a 16-year-old boy from Hanover, Jamaica—Cleaton Daley—who was forced to leave school to help support his family. Years later, now living in Canada, Mr. Daley often found himself reflecting on his life and the gospel songs he had written along the way. In those quiet moments, he felt a calling to do more—to turn his music into a way to uplift others facing the same challenges he once did.

Drawing inspiration from the former Superkutz Scholarship Foundation, which he had also founded, and grounded in his faith, Mr. Daley reached out to his longtime friend and fellow musician, Paul Tshuma. Together, in June 2017, they began a mission to create a gospel CD that would fund scholarships for deserving students—and in doing so, they laid the foundation for what would become the Daley & Tshuma Scholarship Foundation.

What started as an act of faith and friendship has grown into a community movement. Today, the Foundation continues to thrive through the dedication of a passionate team united by one vision: to empower youth through education, faith, and opportunity.
